Weeks 36-51

Employed! I am back in the medical device world again, with all its pros and cons. I started the week of Thanksgiving, which has been a bit odd with holidays and folks being gone. It’s been difficult to get use to the transition, as I worked hybrid (mostly WFH) for about 5 years. It also doesn’t help that I leave and come home in the dark.

I’ve still kept up with the project, although I haven’t really had a lot of time to sketch anything substantive now that I’m back in an office 5 days a week (boo). At some point I misnumbered the pages, but didn’t realize it until about page “363”, which was actually 360. I’m not sure where I screwed up, but the count will still be 365 at the end of the year.

I sent out about 40 end of year linoblock cards, which also took up a bunch of my time.

I’m now in the weird limbo of post-Xmas and pre-2026. I have no new woodblock projects on the horizon, which makes me fidgety. Thanks to the sketchbook, I have some ideas to work on for next year.

I’ve got a couple more posts to make for this project. I’ve got the last week of the year for wrap-up, and a post about the project show happening in January.
